50 Random Photographs

Photography has never been my primary artistic passion or talent, but I do love being behind the lens. I began taking pictures to use as a source of material for other art and as a way to explore the world with my wife and friends.

Having a nice, weighty camera in your hands can also dramatically changes your role in the world around you as its plot unfolds; I enjoy the perspective that that brings.

My focus tends to very much focus on “candid” shots, even during set model shoots.  I find those much more interesting than designing images with flawless lighting at perfect angles with spot-on color.  Exceptions to that are when I’m trying to add specific technical elements – like projections – that are just not possible naturally.
